Die so entstehenden "Profile" einzelner Soziologen und soziologischer "Schulen" konnten dann miteinander verglichen werden, so daB Aussagen Uber bestimmte "Schwerpunkte" der Ideengestal t in der deutschen Soziologie gemacht werden konnen. Es geschah mit Bedacht, daB bei der Entwicklung dieses Schemas so haufig von "idealtypischen" Alternativen die Rede war.
