When the pure and holy fear of the Lord reigns in our life, we will not have to fear anything else. Our goal is to have only one fear in our life that is so great that it casts out all other fears. To wake up somebody who is sleeping usually requires an alarm. Alarm is also a kind of fear, as we say that people are “alarmed” if they are worried or fearful about something.
