Colossians 3:8-9,10a, 12) Every new Christian has a lot to learn. It is very important to read the Bible every day. Some people read it when they get up in the morning and before they go to bed. Others make a special quiet time each day to read the Bible. However you choose, make time each day to read God’s Word and find out how He wants you to change. When you start reading the Bible, you may get a little discouraged. You will see so many areas that will need change in your life. You will feel that the job is too difficult.
One thing that convinces people that Jesus is alive is the beautiful love they have for others. "Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again... " (1 Peter 1:22,23a) Jesus gave a name to this family. He called it the Church. " You and I have been called out of the world, called out of our sin, and called out of bondage to the devil. Aren’t you glad that God called you out?
