The Winter War was on its way. Hunter of Rautjärvi: 1931–1939 According, once again, to Simo’s close friend Raimo Partinen, Simo enjoyed hunting in Rautjärvi throughout the 1930s.
While there, he started writing this book, affected by what he had seen and how he felt.
