There we read, “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. ” He promised to send a curse, as can be seen in verse 19, “This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. ” To clear away any misunderstandings, this is what it states: The law doesn’t promise eternal life, but a life full of blessings during the time we’re on earth. ” God’s punishment extends up to the forth generation When we say that the Commandments of God remain valid to the present days that includes the blessings and curses that happen when we choose to obey or disobey them.

Every image brings the unchangeable, eternal, uncreated God in par with the created, mortal, and carnal. God however is an eternal Spirit.
